RESCUE *** REHABILITATION *** PAIN MANAGEMENT
"Where in this world can man find nobility without pride, friendship without envy, beauty without vanity? Here, where grace is laced with muscle, and strength by gentleness confined. He serves without servility, he has fought without enmity. There is nothing so powerful, nothing less violent, nothing so quick, nothing more patient. The worlds past have been borne on his back. We are his heirs; he is our inheritance. The Horse." By Robert Duncan
I took these pictures through my tears that day. How can anyone with a concience abandon 27 horses fenced in with no food, no water, and no caretaker. These horses obeyed that fence and it almost killed them. They were eating their own feces and trees and had no water. There were stallions in the herd and they were doing what was natural so many of these mares are pregnant.
Those people tried to take away that nobility and pride, but they DID NOT SUCCEED! Their nobility and pride, muscle and strength, was only hidden and now these horses are allowed to freely and openly show it.

So lets have a big HOORAH! for the Round Up Teams, Volunteers, Trainers, new "Moms & Dads", and anyone else involved in giving rightful spirits back to these beautiful horses.

The biggest Thank You goes to Sandy Gilbert, from Refuge Farms, a true Angel. Sandy, you are Blessed, and just being in your presence - we are blessed. And thank you to the "Eleven From Heaven" in our round up, and the other 16 rescued horses, I learned true forgiveness, humility, and much more.
To the couple that abandonded them and others like you, you know who you are, SHAME ON YOU. I only pray you should never meet such fate, or should you? ~By Cindy Bondowski
